About our research
Every benchmark on this blog comes from real LinkedIn campaigns. Here’s where the numbers come from, and exactly what each one counts.
Where the data comes from
Every campaign that runs through Outscale. That covers the campaigns Upscale Outreach runs for its clients and its own, and Outscale customers’ campaigns join as they arrive. Today that’s 112,149 prospects reached.
Nobody is ever named
We publish counts and rates, added up across campaigns. No client, prospect or salesperson is named, and none can be picked out. Our terms say so.
How replies are read
Outscale reads every reply and every answer and sorts each one into a fixed set of kinds: “interested”, “come back later”, “thanks”, a flat no, and so on. That’s how a benchmark can say what happened after a “thanks”.
What the words mean
A conversation is a prospect who replied at least once. Booked means the prospect confirmed a meeting in the thread. Asked means our side proposed a time for a call. An inbox is one LinkedIn profile sending outreach.
When we publish
Only when enough conversations sit behind a number to trust it. Every article says the date its benchmarks were measured, and we refresh them as the campaigns grow.
