The most-pitched markets have heard it all
Almost every outreach tool, agency and sequence template is written in English, for English speakers, first. So a sales leader in Chicago or Dublin can get a request from a stranger most days of the week. Most of them are pitches. After a while, the finger hovers over “Ignore” before the profile has even loaded.
Where requests from strangers are rarer, a stranger is still interesting. Someone took the time to find you, and that alone earns a look. People say yes to what is rare.
What to do today
- Judge each country against itself. A rate that’s normal in one market is a warning sign in another.
- In the most-pitched markets, earn the click. A profile and a note that stand apart from the other requests they got that week.
- Try a less crowded market. If the offer travels, the same campaign may get a warmer welcome next door.
