What’s a good LinkedIn acceptance rate?

Above 47% is top quarter. And it barely buys you replies.

Upscale Outreach ·

Anything above 47% puts a campaign in the top quarter. In real campaigns, the middle one had 37% of its connection requests accepted, the bottom quarter fell below 29%, and the top tenth beat 60%.

Where campaigns land

We lined up every real campaign with enough settled requests to judge and split them into quarters. Here’s where the lines fall.

  • Top tenth starts at60%
  • Top quarter starts at47%
  • Middle campaign37%
  • Bottom quarter ends at29%
Outscale benchmark: connection requests accepted, campaigns with 200 or more settled requests grouped into quarters.

So a good acceptance rate is anything above 47%. Above 60% is rare. Below 29%, something in the list, the market or the profile needs a look.

A high acceptance rate barely buys replies

Campaigns in the top quarter for acceptance replied 27% of the time once messaged. The rest replied 26%. Accepting is a click, and it costs nothing. Replying is a decision. A campaign can win the first and still lose the second, which is the story of LinkedIn reply rates by country.

What moves acceptance most is who you ask: the job titles and markets on the list, then the profile doing the asking. The ranking is in what matters most for LinkedIn acceptance rates.

What to do today

  • Aim for the top quarter. Above 47% is good; below 29% is worth fixing.
  • Read acceptance next to replies. A high acceptance rate on its own proves little.
